About Us
Shane White is the founder and owner of Signature Design & Fabrication on the Gold Coast. With 19 years of experience in the metal work business, he takes pride in creating custom pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly durable. Growing up in England, Shane started his apprenticeship at the age of 15, learning to weld and fabricate sheet metal as part of a unique team building classic cars.
After 10 years of gaining a keen eye for detail and mastering his trade, Shane moved to Australia in 2015 where he continued to work as a welder and fabricator, eventually progressing into management roles. In order to stay ahead of the competition, Shane has completed 3D modeling and design courses while maintaining an excellent reputation among customers with his commitment to service excellence.
In 2019, he decided it was time to set up his own business – Signature Design & Fabrication – offering custom fencing solutions on the Gold Coast. He specialises in designing and installing high-quality fences that are built specifically to meet each individual customer’s needs. His years of experience have enabled him to develop unique designs that allows customers to express their own creativity through their backyard or pool fence while also providing safety, security and privacy.
